I want your advice on this one.

A friend promised to text me last Friday to talk about stuff that mostly concerns me. I rarely ask to talk about me. Most of the time we talk about his stuff.
On Friday, no message. On Saturday no message. I opened our chat on WhatsApp on Saturday around 3pm just to see if maybe I misread what he promised. I could see he was online, on and off many times.
I waited 30min, nothing.
I sent him a message saying "dude, the least you could do is message me that you're busy."
He said he was sorry, he had a busy Friday and the Saturday too. I let know how I felt how about the situation, specially that I usually don't make this kind of request. He apologized again for being selfish. He blamed it on the new job and family issues.

The things is he was online and never thought of sending a message to excuse himself for almost 2days??? I couldn't believe it! I see it as a huge disrespect.
It's kind of a hard pill to swallow.
I'm thinking of cutting him off.
What do you guys think.

Maybe he wasn’t fully ready to talk about certain things or had to drop out last minuet. I would consider everything he’s done before thats really upset you , before you cut him off , If you do cut him off at least explain why to him or maybe you can both work something out it’s important you both are really honest with how you feel and all the issues you both have

@SW-User you got a point about explaining before cutting him off.
