There aren't any flag "laws" in the US. There's a flag code that states how the flag should be flown,, raised, lowered, folded, ect ect. However, there isn't a law with any form of punishment for violating this code. In fact, there is even a Supreme Court decision about flag laws. In Texas v. Johnson, a man was arrested for burning the US flag at a protest but the SCOTUS held that it was part of his First Amendment Rights to protest this way.
