As long as it via impeachment... which is quite the task to do. Then I agree.
For people that believe in that 25 amendment road, I honestly think that would set a dangerous precedent.

@Yulianna Well, it would kinda be the first time ever that a president of the US gets removed from office.
Ussually these things strand in the senate. Impeachment itself is not a precedent, but the removal would be. And if the investigation (political trial) in the senate leads too actual criminal fact that can be prosecuted. Maybe they should do that too, because this also has never been done.
Honestly, when it comes to political responsibility and living up to it, western democracies are ussually pretty bad. Mostly because national agendas or party politics or the iron law of olicharcy comes in the way of how the seperation of powers is supposed to work in theory. Verry often, "the state" as a governement body that relies on the 3 branches governing themselves create situations that lead to a feeling of "unjustice" with the civilians. And the only things civilians can do is vote the politicians out of office. This feeling of unjustice is part of why people loose faith in democracy. A bit more consistency should absolutely be warnted from those in power.

@Yulianna that’s a cynical thought.

@Kwek00 🙄 i was not being sarcastic... i believe this could actually happen.
Trump is facing many months, even years, in various courts if he cannot get a presidential pardon. even then, he could face many non federal cases.
He may have made some strong loyalists, but he also has made many bitter enemies.
