Are newer tape measures better?

I hear you are in trouble in life and all you know is your body doesn't feel comfortable inside your soul, it's not a new piece of measuring tape u need but some security in life.

I sincerely hope you find some!

Older ones can stretch.
Metal Ones can contract in extreme cold and expand in extreme heat.
Newer ones should be more accurate as long as they have be properly calibrated.

I would assume they are not better. Companies do anything to save a buck so newer products just end up being cheapo.
