If COVID-19 is brought under control in the next few months as some reports in newspapers say....

...should we have a Christmas type celebration when the weather is better? I'm thinking May/June. Because of the unique reason Christmas was cut back on this year, why not a unique summer time (in the northern hemisphere) Christmas holiday? On a financial front, I can see the advantages for businesses especially in the hospitality industry) that have been so badly hit since last March.

A lot of people do - it's called the Summer Solstice. Xmas is really just a christian attempt to christenize the celebration of the Winter Solstice and similar Pagan festivities at that time of the year.
