Were you possibly resting on your hand or arm uncomfortably? Pinched nerve or something?
My arm tends to fall asleep on whichever side I lay on, and I think I've had dreams where something happens to that hand/arm.

@AmbivalentFriability I think when I woke up I had my arm near my head... So it's possible it had been numb... But it didn't feel numb when I woke up either? It was like a very dull pain...
