What was the best Christmas present u ever got as a kid ? 🤔 🎁✨

Ok. I'm gonna be real specific with this one right here. But I had to decide which toy gave me the most joy. The Astro Thunder 7.
Or the Super Nintendo. I think the Super Nintendo was the absolute best. Yes. Plus I bought a retro system last year too. It still hits home. What was the best present you ever received as a kid. Comments. 🙂

I had an electric train set and looking back it was really basic, but I was so excited I remember the unveiling to this day. It wasn't wrapped up but hidden behind some curtains where my dad had set it up. I unwrapped other stuff expecting it at each exposure of a gift. Disappointment. Then...'Go and pull the curtains back, Frank, it's a bit dark in here.' JOY!

@saragoodtimes Not really. I enjoy seeing other people's brilliant layouts at exhibitions, but my life is full of so many other things, I haven't the time (or inclination) to put into the painstaking work that creates a really great working layout. I'd rather travel on the real ones. 😄

@Frank52 here in Eastern Pa we have Roadside America. a model train display that's been open here for over 80 years and just announced they're closing and going to auction all the trains and displays

@saragoodtimes That's so sad. Imagine all the work that must have gone into it in that time. I hope it's broken up into large pieces so something of its integrity remains.
