Internet Trend Alert! WeeWoo WeeWoo

So apparently fictional cartoonish 3D renderings of women are dethroning actual flesh and blood real world women in the Vtuber streaming spaces.

Out performing them in all manner of revenue generation. Viewers, Donations, Ad revenue, you name it. The "Virtual" girls also enjoy certain exemptions from the rules of most streaming platforms by virtue of the fact they they aren't real people.

Alot of Vtubers are upset by this growing shift away from them. What do you think? Personally I think it's good and bad.

It's ridiculous, it's the equivalent of jerking off to some dude playing with a plastic figurine because the animation is so horrible.
NoahB · 31-35, M
@MartinTheFirst i dont know how much jerking off is going on but there def is pry some. I think more whats going on is ppl developing parasocial relationships
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@NoahB relationships? you've got the wrong idea it's some dude in vr with an anime skin that can remove its clothes.
NoahB · 31-35, M
@MartinTheFirst oh no, these models are typically controlled by voice actors. so there is an actual person moving and speaking through the anime skin. Its sort of like a digital puppet in that way. So if the streamer is portraying a woman than there is likely an actual woman portraying that characters voice and actions behind the scenes.

@NoahB no it's not
