In our defence (but not to cover up the f*ck ups) in Australia it's currently summer, even here last summer there were barely any cases (well, not as little as 5/day, but that number is subjected to a lot of variables, testing capacity first).
Also, I wouldn't say our govt here (🇮🇹) has not taken it seriously, mask mandates and everything have always been a thing, the problem here imo. is more in the general pop.

@Elessar our government leader did not believe in a solution and therefore did not act on one. All you have to do is ask yourself, who is managing the numbers better? What are they doing? And copy cat that country. But you have to be willing to learn from others and do what is logical and not get lost in who looks more powerful, how can I use this to my advantage, and not want to help big Pharmacuetical and special interests more than save lives.
