I wear a mask in my home, I don't want to infect people I live with. Even if only a small chance I can prevent something, I would want to.

@SatanBurger yeah but what about all the stuff everyone touches like, well, everything in the house?
The fridge, the sink, toilet, furniture, appliances...

@Punches There's no evidence currently that indicates that you can get it that way, plus there's the added benefit of like, washing your hands. I know so controversial ☺️
I know people like to shit and not wash their hands but I guess you'll have to start. I just say that because I used to be a janitor and know first "hand" that very few people actually wash their hands. Which means there's a lot of people walking around with their hands smelling like shit and touching things.

@SatanBurger Yes I do.
Hey I just would like your opinion on something -
So historically if someone called off from work sick or hurt, bosses would be like, "You ain't sick, yet your butt to work!" They didn't care if someone spread the flu/pneumonia/whatever or was underproductive cause they had an injury.
But now with covid they suddenly take it serious if someone calls in sick.
In short - employers never cared before about illness spreading in the work place, why is covid any different?

@Punches Some people don't care about anything so that means you shouldn't care?
That's a poor excuse.

@SatanBurger Nooooo Ms. Culture, it is not about whether or not *I* care, it is about why companies never cared before but suddenly they do.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Punches Covid has now killed far more people than the flu, that seems to be a logical fallacy you're using and an excuse.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Punches If you want a number, about 4 times as many but you are right, if there was no govt restrictions, companies wouldn't care but I don't see how that makes the anti masker's claims valid.

@Punches Good point. Covid-19 lingers in the air for only a relatively short period of time - seconds to minutes - depending on the temperature and humidity. The virus can survive on surfaces for days.
Punches · 46-50, F
@LoveTriumphsOverHate Don't mention that, then people will really freak out.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@LoveTriumphsOverHate You can always wash your hands before touching your face.
