Never. I graduated college in 1993 with $800 in credit card debt. With a starting salary of $36,000 and a $3000 signing bonus (paid off the debt) I never ran short.

I've been really lucky in life and (knock on wood) hopefully the luck continues.

Wife has me on allowance now,it's not enough
