What is the most you have ever truly and selflessly sacrificed for someone else?

I don't know if this counts as a sacrifice but I've done a lot for the people I love/loved be it monetary or even being at their place when they needed me even if it was at odd hours.

I don't do anything expecting something in return. I just do it because I feel it's right and it needed to be done.

And this is why it sucks to be an empath.
