What is a common stereotype of old people?

I notice people say they all wear the same strong, floral-scented perfume and they drink ensure milk every day.

Define 'old'. When I was a teenager it was anyone over 30. Now I'm rather older, it's anyone over 80. There were far fewer over 80s that I knew in the 60s/70s, but a bus driver I was chatting to at as he took his break told me he was 75 next month. He was as alert as he needed to be...and opinionated. 😄
