The most beautiful cities still have all the old buildings, all the old lamp-posts, all the old railway lines and nothing that wasn't there in 1968.

The most disgusting ones are the ones that have none of the above and have suffered the most modernisation.

@NankerPhelge well that doest explain tokiyo or seoul modern cities can be very attractive. unattractive is poverty... slums, huge cheap building complex in cities that keep all the wealth to a small minority instead of sharing it
