One time when I was on my period I dropped my food and sat on the kitchen floor crying for ten minutes afterwards. Hormones, man.

I was feeling the emotional stress of moving to a place I considered "hell on earth" and for our first dinner there I failed at making a dish I had made perfectly twenty times before.
