Oh yes. The sound of waves. I never slept so peacefully as when we visited a cousin with a cottage right near the water. Rivers and streams are also very soothing. Camping near a stream was wonderful.
I only really like city noises on rainy nights. The swish of cars through the wet streets. The occasional raised voice calling a greeting. The slap slap of running feet.
I like the cello music theme song on Angel. Darling Violetta is very good.
