Why do people in movies never say "Goodbye" when they are done talking on the phone?

Maybe the director thinks that it will be distracting during a scene.I always love how a person gives another person their number in movies.Yeah,its 555-5555.

Dialogue is written for drama, not accuracy. If you step back from the story and pay close attention you will see that people in films don't speak very naturally.

You live in SA, you should be used to it.
