Because they don't look around much>? How often do we see men hanging around with wives who've really kept themselves in good condition - the man being the way less attractive of the two looking old and grizzled with a beer gut!
Women, rightly or wrongly face a lot of pressure to keep looking good as long as they can.. and ultimately this does often show!
Of course that's not to say it doesn't happen where the man is the one who looks better for his age..
it's also true that society has conditioned us to believe that lines and grey hair on a man are attractive whereas they are not so on a woman.. Factually there's little difference.. it's just conditioning and instilled expectations re what is and isn't attractive

@Adaydreambeliever While what you say is of course correct, it isnt the full story. A woman with a cheerful caring attitude and a warm welcoming smile can beat a "well maintained" woman and while she make not draw a crowd of admirers like she used to, she can certainly keep the chosen mans focus better.😷
