Anyone have a betta fish?

help. give me tips. i did not plan on adopting a son today but he’s ugly and looked sad

@SW-User i did. i got conditioner and a filtered tank. is tap water then ok?? i’m clueless

@LAlexV I fill a container with tap then add conditioner and let it sit overnight. I have had 2 bettas that lived long..when you first get them they are kind of aware and need to get used to their new home. Sounds weird but it's true..give him a few days! My Betta comes to the top to eat now!

@LAlexV All my Bettas (never put two Bettas in the same tank) were in community tanks.

If you can post some pictures of your tank set up, I might be able to give you some tips.
