Possibly controversial but what is religion? I am struggling with the concept...

I was brought up in the Christian faith for my whole childhood and adolescence. I am struggling to know what I really believe. Not meant to be a horrid question but a sincere one.

Congrats! This is not a bad thing at all! Religion is following a the messenger and a set of rules. Once you question that you can begin the serious journey of finding yourself. Once you find yourself you will find answers. Keep questioning and look within the answers will come. None of us can tell you how, each journey is individual. All I can say is if you seek you will find.
