Not just here.
I live very close to where I work. One morning, I showed up for an early meeting, and not a whole lot of time had passed since I had been in my shower and got some soap or shampoo in my eye.
I was feeling fine, but unknown to me, my eye looked pretty red.
One guy looked at me and said, "Looks like you have a retina becoming detached. That happened to me. I had laser surgery, and that fixed the problem." I said no, I just got some soap in my eye. He shook his head and said, "See a doctor."
Later in the day, I happened to look in a mirror and noticed that my eye had returned to normal. I was tempted to go to this guy's office and say, "Well, my detached retina cleared up. Why did you waste all that money on surgery?"
