Why do women always add how much it cost when showing you the clothes they bought?

because buying a $4 nice shirt is a brag.

I shop the consignment stores, Salvation Army, and Goodwill. I am a teacher.

If I can’t find clothing there, I shop the outlets, Marshall’s and T.J. Maxx. Macy’s has great sales too.

to share what a great deal it was.

If it's designer, could be humble bragging, but if it isn't, I don't get it.🤷‍♀️

Good question...It would impress me more if they tell me how much they saved buying them on sale.
