How do I pick a weighted blanket?
Are they too hot? How many pounds should it weigh? Should I get one for the whole bed or just my side of the bed since hubby gets hot very fast.

Should be around 10% of your body weight. I’d go for something like 6.8kg’s (15 pounds) which is what i’ve got. It’s perfect. I’d get one for just your side, your husband may not like it. My partner doesn’t.
