Why is the sky blue?

@Dirtymikeandtheboys It's in the range of the shorter wavelengths in the visible light spectrum that scatters the most caused by its nature of diffusion through particles in the earth's atmosphere. As opposed to red light which has a longer wavelength causing it to diffuse lesser through the atmosphere, which is why red lights can be seen at a very long distance.
