America has to take a little responsibility for the size of the pandemic.
After all everybody else had stopped flights into their country from China as soon as the source of the outbreak became clear....accept America.

The Chinese government is responsible for trying like hell to cover it up and not share intel with the rest of the world.
But they aren't responsible for every preventable Covid death in every other country.

Origin? Maybe. The spread? To an extent. When people are asked to stay home, they went on doing beach parties, house parties, gathered in large numbers. The citizens and the governments of the counties where it’s prevalent are responsible in some why or the other for the spread. If they followed the guidelines, enforced strict lockdowns and quarantine measures and people obeyed , we’d been done with it by now. Maybe China was responsible in infecting a few hundreds of their citizens, but someone else has to take responsibility if the millions that are suffering now.

@SW-User Trouble is 'advice' is being changed on a daily basis !
And the reasons for that are because every country is following a different model !
So there's no consistency. No two countries reacting and responding in exactly the same way at exactly the same time.
I think it's largely agreed that South Korea seemed to have the best results with the lowest loss of life.
But clearly that model doesn't seem to suit everyone

Biggest mistake was countries repatriating their citizens from China.Bringing all those potentially infected folk home?Very sensible.
I think we can be certain it started there. What we don’t know for sure is how.And I suspect the England cricket team may have had in it South Africa..

While it might have started in China each individual country in the World is responsible for how it has handled the problem.
