For those of you using Windows 10 please check out this page from O&O software. There’s a reason why Windows 10 was free. It’s buried in the 100 page terms of use and agreement you signed before activating 10. The gist is everything you do on Win10 is being sent to Microsoft and several hundred other companies. You can stop the blood letting and turn off the Windows “spyware.” More info is here:

That is true. I frequently update the O&O software to counteract whatever new nonsense Windows has added and reactivate it. It’s a PITA but using an older OS leaves you open to even more vulnerabilities that will become worse over time. My favorite was XP. But I finally had to give up on it. @pagandad

NOTHING, bought a laptop when it was out. Returned it so I could have Win 7 back. Not thrilled with 10, but it will have to do as we are forced to use it since 7 is no longer supported.
