And I mean messages that look quite obviously that they're trying their luck, looking for some kinky chat or something like that. Messages that are just hi, and don't even bother to mention anything I've written about.

At the end of the day if someone's too stupid to realise that to engage someone you have to be interested in what they do and like, then they're not going to be much fun in conversation!

That's true. Getting messages like that makes me have no interest in talking to them. Specially since I have no interest in kinky chats here. But then I get this little voice of insecurity wondering if I'm being too rude by not giving them the benefit of the doubt lol
