I haven't cried in over a decade. Why is that?

I've teared up from laughing, cutting onions, dust in the eye, etc. But haven't cried.
I've felt sad enough to feel the urge to cry, but as soon as I think I'm about to let out a sob I stop.

The wide pointed out she hasn't seen me cry since we've been together. There last time I remember crying for real was when my dog died. She was just a puppy. Even thinking about gets me choked up but still no crying.

Anyone know why that is?

Do you have depression or any other mental illnesses, if you don’t mind my asking?

@SinlessOnslaught I've yet to be diagnosed by a professional, but as far as I know I'm free of any mental illnesses that could be related to this.

@RedwoodBarman Are you sad more often than not? Or are your moods pretty stable?
RedwoodBarman · 31-35, M
@SinlessOnslaught I'm generally a happy dude. Been bored since the pandemic shut down my work, but otherwise I'm still a good mood guy.

@RedwoodBarman Well this is certainly a strange case lol.
