You can breathe with a mask, your body just doesn't know better.

When you wear a mask your body instinctively reacts. Because your air intake it's covered, your body thinks it's behind suffocated despite getting as much air as it always has.

It's like a mild claustrophobic reaction. You're fine, just breathe.

Except when its 100 degrees and humid, you're sweating and it's hard enough to breathe without the extra effort. You must live somewhere cool and or dry?

I've asthma and it messes with my breathing too much to wear, I've tried around the house and it's just not a viable option for me.

@Paintedfox I bought a really funky one with skulls and roses thinking I'ma gonna rock this, couldn't breathe well enough to not have an asthma attack, now ordered a clear face visor thing in the hopes I can finally go out.

@AntisocialTroll Im glad you got the visor. Those look silly but much easier to exist in. Stay well sweet friend.

@Paintedfox I'll look like a prat but who cares!
I shall do me best, thank you for the kind words my lovely.
You and yours be sure to stay well too...

Good lord, the people freaking out about suffocating wearing a mask must have never worn a costume at Halloween.

Not everyone can wear a mask and be ok. I’m good for a short time with it on but that’s it
Jeffrey53 · 51-55, M
I still wear it at work but it’s hard for me because I have Asthma

Still I wouldn't go jogging wearing a mask
