If a baby’s butt pops out of its mother at 11:59 PM, and the head comes out at 12:01 AM, what day will the baby be declared to be born on?

I am no obstetrician or even a father, but I always thought if it emerged that way round (a "breech birth") the mother for a start would rather more to worry about than what day it is!
