@Dan509 I used to be able to do that. But not anymore. In the rental world, my rent went from $600.00 to $900.00. That didn't count food, phone bills, and life insurance. I was living hand to mouth and paycheck to paycheck. There was no such thing as "extras" for anything. Then management decided to not renew my lease (although I was always on time paying) because they were going to rehab the entire place and raise the rent to $1,100.00 in my basement apartment. It took me five full months to find anything I could afford. Everybody wanted double what I had in the bank besides a security deposit and that month's rent. So did the place I ended up, but they checked my rental-on-time record and my credit record. Both were clear. I have been here five months and the rent is down to $750.00. But all I pay is electricity. Oh, and phone.
