Because the economy is already struggling, we know what we need to do to keep safe. If we stay locked down much longer more people wont have jobs to go back to. Covid 19 is going to be around for a long time, like the flu is, how long do you think we should stay locked down for?

@Beautifullyderanged I know that, but if they cause a second wave, all the last lockdown and the damage it caused to the economy is for nothing.

@FairyGirlGemma there was always going to be a second wave, look what is happening in China. There are too many people who didn't follow the first lockdown, even New Zealand couldnt stop it from being in their country again. The first lockdown saved people but it also showed that people arent going to follow rules, especially when the rules dont apply all the time, like the BLM protests etc.
