I have a friend who wants to join this site...she's been trying for a couple hours but is being driven crazy

Are there any brand new members who've recently joined? Like within the past few weeks? Did you have to pick ten groups, etc?

I joined a few weeks ago and that was the case with me as well.

Didn't have a clue as to what I was doing..

After joining, I got a message from someone asking me why I joined a group called "I'm a country girl and love country music", or something to that effect..

Thing is, I never knew I did join such a group.
