My unpopular opinion is...

... that whiners and quitters shouldn't be coddled. They need a firm hand and should relinquish control over their lives.

Agree...some are just feeling entitled & will play the sympathy card for as long as they can delaying their maturing into an adult.

@Nika2002 I knew someone who was still mooching off of relatives at the age of 33, she had two children & couldn’t keep a job & was playing everyone.

@cherokeepatti My neighbor was mooching off his girlfriend for years: insisting he couldn't work. She left him, and a few months later he took a job.

@Nika2002 they are narcissists but even narcissists will take care of Number One even if it means getting a job. I don’t know why relatives think they are going to starve to death if they don’t let them live with them when they won’t even try to look for work.
