Despite all the noise coming out of America, in most parts of the world absolutely nothing is happening.

People are just getting on with their lives.

We have our local dissent as well.

@Elessar I once watched a video about what is considered taboo in many countries, a Saudi Arabian girl was talking about women's rights and an Italian guy was talking about pineapple on pizza 😂

@HannibalAteMeOut Haha, typical! Excess of comfort, tbh, for those who take that stuff seriously. We're very prone to joke all the time tho (and look damn serious about it), so most likely he was just making fun of the interviewer I would guess. xD

@Elessar found it, see for yourself 😅[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olh_F45SdtQ]

@HannibalAteMeOut Lmao! 😂

Oh, consider also that the very first news story covering the coronavirus here involved an interview of three guys at a bar that started like:

- "The very first case (in the region) has been found in this municipality, are you worried?"
- "No, noo.. (picking up the glass) we have alcohol protecting us."

Unfortunately it's not subtitled but I swear in spite of the obvious worrying, I was on the floor. They've become a meme, of course, as well

😅

@Elessar hahahah love this 😂 That's how real jokes are, you don't have to laugh for people to get them! My dad said that as well, alcohol protects you against microorganisms 😂

@HannibalAteMeOut I know, but the look on their face (probably that spritz was like the 3rd or 4th) combined with that absolutely calm "but noo, noooo, we have alcohol protecting us" line, coming out totally unexpectedly in a moment in which the virus felt even way more scarier than now (remember we've been the first in the west experiencing a large outbreak) killed me for real 😂
HannibalAteMeOut · 22-25, F
@Elessar I can imagine all the memes 😂

@HannibalAteMeOut Haha! There's also this picture, taken after the lockdown, same table same bar:
😅

Let alone full DJ sets + parties in balconies (thankfully nowhere near my neighborhood), popular chants, singers, people doing full marathons running in circle between bedroom - livingroom - balcony, we've never let the thing demotivate us even for a single moment over here. At least those of us that didn't have to deal directly with that damn pathogen, of course.

@Elessar hahaha I know, it had its fun moments! You can't take humour and fun away from those people easily!
