Our mind tricks us. When you look in the mirror you see yourself as five times more attractive than really are! 🙃

I certainly don't see beauty when I look in the mirror; I see how old I am now compared to how I used to look. I know that no man in the world would give me a second look, because that's what happens in the streets... and it's been like that for at least 13 years now.
Nothing can turn back the clock.
Even my husband, who is 10 years older, no longer looks.
He didn't notice when I cut my hair short.

I thought it was the other way round, at least for women.
Studies of women's self-perception have found that 99% of women think they are not beautiful, including women who are models or film stars reknowned for their beauty.
However, when I was a young woman, I was sometimes encountered men who behaved as though all women would naturally find them attractive. I found the vanity itself a turn off.
