According to the news, the police said it was after curfew and they didn't want the protesters to get there hand's on it.

@thephoenix they had permission to be there, and it was a medic station to support protestors...however medics were thrown to the ground and medical supplies were destroyed...sprayed with gas that would call chemical burns if used.
