How do you react to being confronted by strangers?

Like if some random guy in a store tells you to "shut up" or some guy on the street berates you for your political regalia?

Have you gotten in a fight in public over something like this?

I remember this lady on a public street yelling at me and my friends to shut up when we were in high school because she was on the phone. We told her to go to hell and she stormed off. That's like the only example I can think of from my life. 😂 I also remember this crazy "libertarian" guy giving me a political lecture in a parking lot. I told myself if he didn't shut up soon I was going to threaten him. It didn't get to that point, though.
