Probably depends on what part of the world you live in - the police here are ok in general because they’re not frustrated jocks with guns.

Because the police here aren’t armed, and I know a few of them. I wouldn’t trust the police elsewhere though because I’ve lived and worked in other countries, and it’s not the same elsewhere. @IstillmissEP

True, but from what I’ve seen, the use of deadly force is magnified many times when the high school jock hasn’t got one...@IstillmissEP
