As a college player, Michael Jordan was mediocre. In highschool, he was actually cut from the basketball team. Does that inspire you?

I do remember watching a movie about the guy who was supposed to be better than Michael Jordan that supposedly would have overshadowed him but lost everything to a life of drugs...
