Is drinking still fun to you?

It is, but I suppose it's not quite as fun as it was when I was in college. In college it was fun because it was the first time I was living on my own, there was an illicitness to it (because I was underage) that added an extra thrill and I was younger so I could stay up until 4 in the morning without issue and know all I had to do the next day was show up to class at 3 in the afternoon. Now with work and added responsibilities, the context isn't the same, but I still enjoy getting drunk with my friends a few times a year.

Nope--stopped 20 years ago and life is better without it.

This weekend I have had a few beers. And it's been a long time since I drank beer.

I usually drink a bottle of wine once every one to two weeks. But I avoid hard liquor as it has a connection to use of other illicit substances in my past. The two used to go hand in hand.

I don't get drunk as it really affects me for days after.

Sober for about 4 months now, having a much better time without alcohol in the mix.

Fun? No. But I feel happy when I drink.

It's still a fairly novel experience for me because I just started this year after abstaining from it. It does sort of feel like it "unlocks" some kind of side of me that I don't often get to see. If that makes sense. And that feels good. I've limited myself to the weekends as well.
