Would you lie to/use someone if it was mutually beneficial?

BlueVeins · 22-25
Probably, but I wouldn't take it lightly.
Emele · 31-35, FVIP
Beneficial for who - you and the person, or for you and someone else?
Either way, I wouldn't feel good about the prospect.
NorthernRoses · 22-25, F
@Emele thinking you and the person, mostly.
Emele · 31-35, FVIP
@NorthernRoses I can't really imagine a scenario where lying would achieve that, maybe withholding information that benefits you. That would sort of be using the person. As they would be acting without full knowledge. I would be most likely to do anything approaching deceitful if it only affected myself. At work I have told 'white lies' or half-truths to help myself out...

How is it using someone if there's mutual interest involved?
NorthernRoses · 22-25, F
@assemblingaknob I guess like, withholding information that benefits you, that would ruin things for both parties of exposed.

Nothing cruel like cheating, but like... two people in a relationship, one never been happier and the other feigning romantic/sexual interest for the other's money. Those kinds of situations, I guess.

@NorthernRoses damn IDK. I guess I would still feel guilty for my part.
