Have you ever taken a DNA test. Like from Ancestry DNA and found something or someone you didn’t expect?

Yes....I grew up thinking that I was of 50% Italian and 50% Irish descent (entirely European caucasian descent), but that’s not quite what came out of the DNA test.

I am 50% Irish by descent, but only 25% Italian by descent.
Other ancestry included Greek, Spanish, African, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian.
It turns out that I’m something of a “mutt”, and actually “tri-racial”.
