Have you ever taken a DNA test. Like from Ancestry DNA and found something or someone you didn’t expect?

@TwistofFate1978 yeah...I'm pretty sure I know who it is, but they've stonewalled me pretty good. It's one of two people from a prominent family in dentistry......the one guy or his brother....I found the son of one of the men was an attorney (after I found out one had a stroke not 2 months before and didn't want to upset him further). I figured if someone was going to stop me, it would be the attorney in the family. Well, no one will take a damn test but I'm related to all kinds of people around them.

@TwistofFate1978 yeah...I mean, I have a great family. I don't need them. I just wanted to know my medical history and such. So, since I have known my birth mother for 20 of my 49 years, we have become friends. Weirdly, she hasn't befriended my wife but is still friends with my ex....that's weird, isn't it?....anyway...I thought I was part of this Italian family ("connected") for all this time....then a woman thinking she was my half sister reached out to me.

We met and everything....she convinced me to take the Ancestry test....well, guess who isn't related. This made my wife happy because this woman was super clingy and as I have learned, half siblings that meet later in life have a bad habit of getting "attracted" to the sibling....don't judge...just read...I never was into either of my sisters...but then one of them wasn't my sister and just became a woman I know...and as someone who doesn't have a great track record...I didn't need a woman I know...LOL
