Why can’t we go back to when kids weren’t allowed social media and had little time behind a screen?
Kids need outdoors and social media is damaging

That's like something someone my age would say!
I think it's a combination of the obvious dangers (abductions,etc.) and somehow letting a kid sit unbridled in front of a screen w/no supervision seems to be acceptable. TV was the first video babysitter, now its "hey kid - play w/this Ipad".....needless to say I'm old and my mom would yell "go outside and play"...even in the winter!!!!! :)
