I miss being able to visit with my parents in the same room. I miss the days where my mind was a bit calmer and I just lived with less thinking.

Travel to a point though I got a lovely holiday to Tokyo before all this kicked off so I'm lucky there.
Missing me hiking though. Love getting out in the countryside and had a number of long distance multiday camping/hiking trips planned. Had 2 long Bank Holiday weekends now with amazing sunny weather and having to stay at home has been hell especially as I live in a tiny flat. Just bucking meself up with the thought that I have all the plans I made and hopefully can do them next year.

Those hugs, man. The hugs from those you’ve considered your tribe that last long enough to emit a deepened breath, a relaxing of the shoulders, and a closing of the eyes...giving you the sense, even if it’s just for that moment, that everything is and will be okay.

I miss walking to the train...commuting to my job....getting my coffee...listening to music to get me ready...walking in, saying hello to people etc....not my job per se (still doing that) but the simple routine...
