Good question. Perhaps a greater realization that living in the present. Appreciating moments rather than toward some distant future that cannot be a for sure reality. Moments matter more. Simple things have become profound.

@MushroomFaerie I think it's a positive side of the pandemic. Wearing the masks in public has had the reverse effect of separation. It's a symbol of a commonality that is a thread that ties us all together. People are talking more in stores, banks, etc. We are by nature a social species and this culture shock has forced us to get closer to one another.
@Grateful4you in the last few days before lockdown we had to wear masks at work and if you smiled... Nobody could see 🙊

@Grateful4you absolutely they can but its the metaphor that's concerning and this is how these people roll... Take the small insignificant things away and disguise them as necessary, for some it takes away everything over time as nobody sees. It has a very Nazi vibe
