Why do you get drunk?

It's been quite some time since I've been drunk.

Nowadays I stay away from hard liquor and stick to wine. Because hard alcohol was a gateway for me to use cocaine back when I used to snort it.

Oftentimes when I drank to get drunk, I was depressed and feeling sorry for myself. And I chose to use alcohol and drugs as an escape.

Liquid courage. Emotion numbing agent. Socialising. Confidence boost. Fun... 🤔

After the first few times, I didn't do it anymore. Didn't seem worth it.

I think drinking alcohol plays a large part.

It’s a drug. It makes you feel good
