@Spoiledbrat It's so weird that when we change out screen name we have to wait 32 days to change it back. Not the traditional, conventional 28 but the weird, unexplained 32. I mean, why? Why 32? It may be an even number and it may only divide by even numbers but in this context it's a very odd number to choose.

I didn’t even know we could change it back. I’ve been waiting months to change my username. @NankerPhelge

@Spoiledbrat Have you tried to change it? I changed mine to NankerPhelge earlier this year and it told me what date I could change it back. I was and I still am completely mystified as to why we have to wait 32 days. How is that supposed to fit into anybody's policy of "once a Friday, always a Friday"? If they made it 28 days instead of 32 it would work like that.

Yes and there’s not an option to change it back or change it all until October and that will be a year because I changed it in October of 2019. @NankerPhelge

@NankerPhelge Each time you change you profile name the time is increased. They took that action to dissuade people from changing their name frequently. There was a post about this from the admins long ago. I'll see if I can find it.

@Fungirlmmm What was that all about? They frown on people with multiple accounts even more. How are we supposed to disguise ourselves so that trolls won't recognise us?

@NankerPhelge They allow multiple accounts but they track so they know how many each person has. I think that they posted we can have 3. I only need one though. I don't intend to hide from my stalker. I still have the same username. They do the limitation because trolls would simply keep getting new accounts or cause trouble, wait awhile, and edit their name.

@Fungirlmmm How can they "track so they know how many each person has" and be sure they are right when a lot of people use public computers in libraries and Internet cafes? There are probably hundreds of different people using the same IP address, so how can they possibly see who is using it at any given time? Logical answers only, please.
