What is the secret beyond the attraction to 40+ ladies ?

We probably hear frequently that many young men are attracted to ladies above 40,

it is so clear that 40+ ladies has attraction power ,

i wonder what makes this power so strong to the young men?

No idea where that myth comes from.
I've been a woman over 40 for 23 years - I'm healthy, fit, not bad looking, intelligent, and creative.
I can guarantee that the older one gets, the less men are interested. And I don't mean the silly fishing nonsense that happens here; I mean in real life.
One knows this because strange men avoid making eye contact. And men one meets socially treat one like a sister, mother or grandmother. They are polite and friendly. They offer to open doors if I'm carrying heavy loads, or offer to carry the loads to the car. They do not show any interest beyond that.
This is perfectly okay with me. It's far more peaceful and pleasant than in my under-30 when strange men relentlessly and rudely hassled me several times a day. That was a scary kind of hell.

@hartfire I am one of the men in thirties , and i admit i am one of those who get attracted to +40 ladies , it is really kind of weakness and attraction , some could argue this is nonsense , bu i can feel it for real, the guys below mentions many reasons , i don't agree with all of them , but i agreed with the one who said they are sexy , pay more attention , mature , able to handle the young guys immaturity, this reasons are advantage of the ladies 40+ , i don't think it is negative thing for them.

@Popinjay If they do, they're unbelievably naive and ignorant.
In older women, especially after 40, the hormones rapidly fall. Not only desire decreases, but physical capacity.
For an older woman, the mental aspect of love and sexuality becomes the key to arousal and satisfaction -- and she's happier to go without if those attributes are not present in a relationship. After menopause at 50, this change magnifies until it becomes the only way possible.
